Canada | PR Visa | PNP | Alberta Immigration Nominee Program draw: 200 candidates received invitations

The province of Alberta has released its third Provincial Nominee Program draw details of the year 2021. The recent Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP) draw was held on February 10, 2021. It has invited 200 candidates through Alberta Express Entry Stream in that draw.

The invited candidates had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 301. CRS score requirements reduced by 59 points in this draw compared to the previous draw.

Last month, Alberta held two draws. The first draw was held on January 8, 2021, inviting 50 candidates, followed by the next draw on January 28, 2021.   The second draw saw 100 candidates receiving the invitations. Minimum CRS score requirements for those draws were 406 and 360 respectively.

Alberta will send invitations directly to the candidates who have an active Express Entry profile. The AINP considers applicants for a nomination who have shown strong ties to Alberta as well as who can help support the economic growth and diversification priorities of the government.

Receiving a provincial nomination accrues 600 additional CRS points, which will guarantee an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the IRCC in the subsequent draw.
