Before this draw today, Canada also invited 606 more applicants from the Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

The Express Entry program is the primary source of qualified foreign workers in Canada.  Eligible applicants join the Express Entry pool and are given a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on their age, level of education, Professional experience and proficiency in English or French, along with other factors. With the current draws Canada has issued 26,500 ITAs so far this year. IRCC continues to hold regular draws in spite of the fact that special steps to combat the Corona Virus(Covid-19) pandemic have been put in place.
