Canada held its latest Express Entry draw on March 8, 2021. A total of 671 provincially nominated candidates received invitations to apply for permanent residence in Canada. This means the latest draw was limited to the candidates who already have received provincial nominations from the provinces of Canada.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required to receive an invitation is 739 in this draw.
The latest draw took place three weeks after a tremendous draw that was held on February 13, 2021. The previous draw saw a whopping 27,332 candidates receiving invitations to apply for permanent residence. Candidates from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) received invitations in that draw.
The previous draw set records in terms of both numbers of invitations and CRS score requirements. The minimum score needed to receive an invitation was 75 for that draw.
Before this huge draw, the highest number of ITAs issued in a single draw was 5000 in four consecutive draws held during the end of 2020.
