Canada held its latest Express Entry draw on February 13, 2021. This is the largest ever draw of Canada’s Express Entry since its inception in January 2015. A whopping 27, 332 candidates under Canadian Experience Class (CEC) stream were issued invitations in this draw.
This draw also saw the lowest ever Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement of Express Entry. The minimum score required to receive an invitation was 75 for this draw. Before this draw the lowest CRS requirement was 199 on May 26, 2017(Draw # 64) FSTP specific draw.
Prior to this draw, the largest number of invitations in a single draw was 5000 in four consecutive draws held between November 18, 2020, and December 23, 2020. The current draw saw almost six times larger invitations than previous big draws.
This is the second draw of the week followed by PNP specific draw, held on February 10, 2021. A total of 654 provincially nominated program Candidates received invitations in that draw. In total, 37,986 candidates received invitations in all 6 draws of this year so far.
