British Columbia held two PNP draws in the month of February so far. On February 9, through Tech Pilot draw 74 candidates received invitations. Minimum score needed under each stream to receive an invitation to apply in this draw was 80.
British Columbia issues invitations every week to qualified candidates who have a valid job offers through Tech-Pilot draw. The offered job must be in one of the 29 key technology occupations.
The pilot program was started in 2017. It has been extended multiple times with the most recent extension until June 2021.
Earlier, on February 2, 2021, BC has sent 208 invitations under general category draw. Minimum score requirements varied between 79 and 104 for each category. The same day another 8 candidates received invitations under Entrepreneur Category who had a minimum score of 122 in this category.
Candidates must create a profile through the online portal of BC-PNP as a first step to apply under Skills Immigration (SI) or Express Entry BC category (EEBC).
Candidates are then given scores depending upon several factors such as their level of education, Experience and job offer from BC employer etc. All invited candidates have 30 days to complete and submit the application to apply for the nomination.
A total of 814 candidates have received invitations to apply this year so far.
