In order to obtain an invitation via the category Express Entry BC, candidates must have profiles in the federal express entry program.
Express Entry is the application management system operated by the federal government. Express Entry candidates receive points based on human capital factors such as age, work experience, educational qualifications and language proficiency in English or French
Applicants receiving a provincial nomination gets an additional 600 CRS points and they are guaranteed to receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada in the subsequent express entry draw
British Columbia has recently announced that it would extend its Tech Pilot until June 2021 for another year. The pilot allows international tech employees in one of 29 jobs to have a career bid. The job offer must be a minimum of one year long and at the time the applicant submits the application to B.C, there must be at least 120 days left in the job offer.
