Canada | PR Visa | PNP – B.C. Issues 237 Provincial nomination invitations in the recent draw

The Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia (BC PNP) has invited a total of 237 applicants under Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration categories on May 7, 2020.

 

Requirements for provincial performance varied according to subcategory.

 

The two subcategories included in the draw under the BC system of Express Entry were:


Ø  Skilled Worker (EEBC-Skilled Worker): Required score of 108 and

Ø  International Graduate (EEBC-International Graduate): Required a score of 106 to receive the invitations respectively.

 

The candidates who received invitations have profiles in the express entry pool. If they successfully receive the provincial nomination they will be essentially guaranteed to obtain an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in next Express Entry draw for Canadian permanent residency.

 

Three subcategories were listed under the Skills Immigration category such as:


Ø  Skilled Worker (Skills Immigration (SI)-Skilled Worker): Required score of 102;

Ø  International Graduate (Skills Immigration (SI)-International Graduate): Required score of 106; and

Ø  Entry-Level and Semi-skilled (Skills Immigration (SI)-Entry-Level and Semi-skilled): Required score of 83 to receive the invitations respectively.


Sales and Service occupations were not listed in this draw due to the impact of coronavirus on B.C. businesses


Those who have received an invitation to apply will have up to 30 calendar days from the day they receive their invitation to send a full provincial nomination application to the BC PNP.
