Canada | Immigration -Canada is still accepting applications for study, Immigration and eTAs.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) state that applications for visas and electronic travel authorisation (eTA) will continue to be processed for those excluded from travel restrictions, with a special emphasis on applications for temporary foreign workers related to critical medical services and food supply chain services.

In an announcement made on 10 April 2020, the IRCC also confirmed that applications for study visas will continue to be processed “to the extent practicable” for the upcoming fall academic term. 

Student visa applicants have 90 days to provide biometric data rather than the normal 30 days. Exempted students and PR visa applicants whose applications were approved before 18th March and 16th March respectively are allowed to enter into Canada.

Non-essential visit visa applications have been temporarily suspended ahead of current travel restrictions till further notice.

Temporary Foreign worker, students, visitors who are exempted from travel ban are allowed to apply online.
