Canada | PR Visa | PNP – Canada invited 118 candidates under provincial nominee Program in recent Express Entry draw.

Canada held 3rd express entry draw of the month on April 15th, 2020. A total of 118 candidates were invited by IRCC who already had provincial nominations. Lowest ranking candidate invited has a CRS score of 808. This means the candidate had only 208 CRS points with his/her profile active in express entry pool, pre receipt of PNP nomination.

CRS scores are based on the factors such as the candidate’s age, qualification, proficiency in English and/or French, experience along with other factors. The highest-ranking candidates from the pool will be issued invitations to apply. Generally, IRCC conducts two draws every month. 2 draws happened on the same day on April 9, 2020. Two draws were specific to Provincial Nominee Programs and Canadian experience classes.

Provincial nominations allow provinces to pick the candidates who can contribute to their economy. Provinces have many other programs under which they can invite the candidates. Many programs are aligned with the express entry pool of IRCC. 30 Draws have been held under various provincial nominee programs from this beginning of this year.

Canada has invited 26,618 candidates till date this year which is more, compared to the previous 2 years till date invitations.
